04-26-18  04:00 PM  Lake County Invite     Grayslake Central     Away      -     The Lake County Invitational compiled scores resulted in Lake Forest taking sixth place with a score of 112. Emphasis should be placed on how strong the NSC conference looked last night with Libertyville taking third with a score of 134, Warren Township coming in fourth with 124 points, and Lake Zurich taking fifth with 120 points. Twenty-two points separated the top NSC conference teams, which places Lake Forest right in the mix for the conference meet coming up next Saturday, May 5. The team reached 112 points because of Alghini, Bazell, Bentley, Jackson, Leonardi, Marchant, Milburn, and Zarek. Leonardi led the team points by scoring first in both the 100 and 300 hurdles with state qualifying times of 15.45 and 45.55. All Lake Forest competitors should have left last night feeling victorious in your own right, please acknowledge this to yourself. Personal records and scoring points isn't the contributor in track and field.
